Mina's Musings

So Joe and I caught The Cranberries live at Metropolis last night. Kickass show, Dolores definitely still has the pipes.   My feet stuff hurt from dancing, and my throat is still raw from yelling along — always signs of a good evening, no matter how such discomforts come about;)

Their current tour is to promote their latest album “Roses” but the band was also cool enough to pack the set list with most fan-favorite tunes like “Dreams,” ” Zombie” and of course, “Linger”:

Also pretty awesome though was this new tune from the Roses album, “Conduct.” I like.

And, always my favorite (and always rips my heart out) “When You’re Gone”

Joe of course, shot the hell out of the show. Alas, he wouldn’t have made it in with his big ass Nikon, but still did pretty well with my crappy little Canon, given lighting conditions and the fact that he was shooting over the heads of a father and the 18-month old (huh? Yeah, I know — at a rock concert) he had to have on his shoulders through the entire show. You know, in case the rugrat like, missed something….  He got videos of most of the songs too, but they’re on his iPhone, which is not at hand right now.  Will post them soon though.
