Habs Fever

In case you can’t tell, I’m deep into the Playoffs.  The Montreal Canadiens did it first with the Washington Capitals — top seeded team with the highest points in the Eastern Conference (or the league?  hell if I know) — and now they’ve whupped the ass off the current Stanley Cup champs to advance in the Playoffs.  So um yeah…..:

Just a quick drive by this morning to crow and babble briefly with you, Dear Readers, until I finish my coffee and hit the shower.  I’m back at the salon (nail chick as well as indie porn maven, remember?) today and tomorrow for a few hours and will be outta here soon.

Although I don’t actually have a great deal to babble about.  It’s been a pretty quiet week so far, punctuated by my not-quite-aimless putterings around the house.  No hockey games now til Sunday (Go, Bruins!  A Montreal/Boston series anyone?), had a lovely camshow Wednesday afternoon from the comforts of my bedroom, and we watched The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus last night.  I managed to get a few things done yesterday I’d been putting off that were purely domestic in nature — baked a cake and planted mint in a balcony box — and were as mindlessly satisfying as can be expected.  A quiet week for SpyCam watchers, no doubt, but a mellow, relaxing one for me.
