Good morning, Dear Readers.  Happy Hump Day.  Just wanted to swing by here quickly and let you know I’m not dead (although if you’re a Twitter follower, you probably know that), nor have I abandoned this blog, which never happen.  I’m just going through one of my “too busy to promote” periods.

Have one last coffee with me before I hit the shower then head to the salon for the day (I do nails as well as indie porn for a living, remember?), be sure to watch via SpyCam if you’re a Mina member.  Here’s what’s up.

In no particular order:

• things have pretty much been “work – eat – sleep”.   And in the first few days of January, you could also add “unpacking” to that list.  With the exception of a few stray boxes I’ve hidden until we have time to either give a shit or get to them, we’re totally settled into the new place now though, and I’m thrilled to bits.  Not all of the SpyCams are placed well enough yet to really show the place as it deserves, but feedback about our new Smut Central has been complimentary.
• We’ve also had a lot of family events the last couple of months, which have been enjoyable, but do kept us running around quite a lot, especially considering Joe and I are down to one full day off together a week now, in which to shoot and/or fuck.  Next weekend, we’ll have yet another, and will be hosting here then that should be it for awhile.
• Because of all this, we STILL haven’t shot a thing here yet and it’s bugging the PISS out of me.  But things are slowing down, finally.  And  I have already threatened to a fuck a doorknob if Joe doesn’t bonk me soon we should be able to finally do something this weekend.  According to the date on the tape we last shot with, we haven’t fucked since December 20th, which is just wrong.  However, it’s gratifying to know that it’s apparently disturbing The Man as much as me.
• In addition to the holidays and being very busy at the salon, Joe’s also spent a few weeks fighting another cold or bronchial infection of some kind, which seems to be finally clearing up.
• I’ve also been following the Haiti crisis with a very close eye.  One reason of course, is that it’s horrible and my heart goes out to them all, as well as friends or family they may have here in Montreal (Montreal has a huge Haitian community) desperate to for news, but also because my brother-in-law has been sent there with DART.  While he’s not out clearing rubble – he’s a medic -  it’s still got to be a rather dicey post and I’m worried about him.  Mind you, he’s a big tough bastard and they have an armed contingency with them, but still…it was good to see his face on the news the night after he was sent.  So yeah, Robi:  watch your ass, brother.

I also wanted to thank viewers last night for their understanding when I had to cut last night’s camshow short because the salesman was here to set up our account with the oil company (this place is oil heated).  The appointment WAS actually scheduled for after my camshow (all things revolve around porn in this house, baby) but he arrived early.  Not much we could do about that and I knew you guys would be cool.  So thanks again, muuahs.

A few more sips of coffee, then I’m off to work for the day, but home this evening for your viewing pleasure.  Or earlier than that, if I think I can duck out.  My schedule at the salon these days still goes according to whether or not I have either fixed appointments or the patience to sit around waiting for walk-ins.  Up until about 3 or 4 in the afternoon, most of the time I do (still building a clientele, remember?), but once I get bored, it sucks to be them.  However, most of them are pretty good about remembering I don’t just live across the street anymore and that if they want something done, they either need to call or get there at a decent hour.  Otherwise, I’m gone.

On the agenda for the rest of the week:

• I’ll be working Wed-Sat but home as much as possible, of course.
• We’ll be shooting hot new indie porn this weekend — probably Sunday, and finally fucking our brains out.

And hopefully that’s IT.  Frankly, if I have my way, we’ll barely leave the house this weekend.  We need downtime, couch-time, sex-time, movie-time.  Which ought to recharge us well enough for another round of Family Time next weekend.

Which…despite my moaning about how busy we’ve been…I actually AM looking forward to because a) Joe’s family rocks and b) it will be the first event we’ve hosted in the new house.   Mid-February should bring the next one; I’d like us to throw a little housewarming thing for our friends, the hairdressers I work with and Joe’s office.  It’s fabulous to finally have a place big enough to have people over and don’t even get me started on how anxious I am for spring, so we can get at the huge balcony out back.

Summation:  busy, busy, busy!  But it’s all good stuff and only getting better.  Happy Hump Day, darlings!
