In other news, I do hope my readers and Twitter followers will forgive me for neglecting them most of this past weekend. The Qwebec Expo (a small but cool local trade show) was in town — and YES, goddammit that’s how you spell it. As in “QWEBec.” So off I went to to play webmistress and PR-babe for the first time, in support of our sites with our network guy Kenny, who had the intelligence to begin each encounter by introducing me to 3 people at once and then go off to do his own thing (it IS periodically possible for me to play shy and this WAS my first real industry event). Logistics were against me making it to all 3-4 days of the event but I did manage to get in one lunch, one afternoon of meets-n-greets, a cocktail hour, a dinner, and an hour or so at a party at one of the downtown clubs. Met some fabulous people, had some fun, and hopefully did us some good, at least as far as helping to support and put a face on the network.

Joe and I of course totally support each other in a million ways, large and small, and Kenny The Network Admin guy is there for us whenever we need him (especially with the all-too technical issues regarding NATS coding and how not to blow up the CMS) but basically the breakdown is: I own my shit, Joe owns his, and we each take care of own stuff with full confidence that should one of us need anything from there other, it’s there, but basically yep….I run my own shit, and made good n sure to get it right out there with anyone I spoke to. I’m out here on the web to entertain YOU, Dear Readers (and ok, periodically myself), not the male segment of my colleagues in the online beaver biz.

- Sunday: As little as possible, although I MAY have my Monday camshow switched to Sunday by then. Canadian Idol is on Monday nights and god help me….. I’m ashamed to say it… *Shudder* I’m totally into it, and yes I kind of DO hate myself for that. *Sob.* Anyway, I’ll let you know.
